Want to pursue your post-high school degree but don’t meet university requirements?
This is your chance to step up.
With a TSIBA BBA degree to your name, your career opportunities are varied and many. You have the skills and confidence to open your own business and make your mark as an entrepreneur or take on the corporate world as a leader in banking, finance, marketing and more.
But what if your marks don’t meet university requirements?
Before giving up on your dreams of going to university, consider your options. You could rewrite some of your subjects or repeat matric entirely to improve your results. You may choose to take a gap year, enrol for part-time studies, or even start working straight away (knowing that you would join the job market at entry level).
Or, you could step up and take charge. It’s your future, after all.
The TSIBA Higher Certificate in Business Administration (HCBA) is your first step towards qualifying for a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Completing this one-year bridging course, at NQF Level 5, gives you acceptance into the TSIBA Business School BBA.
The HCBA is a comprehensive six-month qualification which covers Foundation Mathematics, Quantitative Methods, Principles of Accounting and Personal Finance, Business Communication, Introduction to Economics, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Self Development, and End User Computing.
Besides bridging your knowledge, the HCBA ensures a smooth transition between high school and tertiary studies by tapping into your initiative, your ambition, and by helping you to connect with your purpose.
To qualify for a Higher Certificate in Business Administration, you need a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a Higher Certificate pass and have achieved below 60% as a pass mark in Mathematical Literacy, or below 40% as a pass mark in Mathematics.
Don’t be late! Applications close 30 June 2019 and the full-time course will run from 15 July 2019 until January 2020 at the TSIBA Cape Town campus in Pinelands.
